you know what?

this somehow follows the name theme.
it feels sweet, kind of sad but overpowered~like a heart breaking in 8-bits,i guess xD!
not too repetitive, not too simple without being overdone.
it has a really good simphony wich seems to catch my ear.you know how to make those.

great go at this

awesome.

but still...it misses something the old one had.
the old one made me feel like crying for no obvious reason.
there's also this high background pitch that only kids can hear...why not making this a mistery as misterious as the original one?
the only thing that gives an eery feeling to this one is the background piano.
the instruments are pretty well chosen tho.

your goal wasn't actually demolished.

in fact, the little synths in the background make it sound like if you were in a
relaxing zone in a metroid game.or such in kingdom hearts.

looping could be a little bit mor loopey tho :/

VGSongbird responds:

Yes it could. I still have much to learn about MIDI and I fully agree with you on that. Thank you for supporting me and leaving a review ^_^

after hearing this,

what has been heard can not be unheard (does that word even exist?) really, great remix right there.
and about the request?all i have to ask is MAEK MOER

VGSongbird responds:

Lol well thank you; I plan to. ^_^

WTF?!?

you saying this sounds like its cheapsets? sounds like chipsets to me.
retro sound is NOT cheap.it's techno's awesomest instrument.
oh and by the way,the first guy who voted this piece was just a zero bomber.
but he had one thing to learn.he can't get anny voting points by voting songs >=3
so i put a 5/5 and it did 4.04.
i particularly like this piece, idk y.sounds rather original.

TheSparrow responds:

Thanks, I appreciate it, I'm glad its better than I think.

this is great!

it sounds really cinematic.
very nostalgic.reminds me of the orchestra in scream 4.
for the other guy that says this isn't loud enough,i hear it perfectly and i get chocked when i hear the loud parts >.>
this track really reminded me of the forsaken fortress in legend of zelda wind waker.
there isn't much to say on this,i'm out of ideas D:!ne ways, could you make a forsaken fortress remix like this one :D?

Ironclover responds:

For you and your review, I'll go and see what I can do, I hear it just fine as well. Thank you very much for your review :)

pretty good,

but if you were trying to make the song epic with the epic synth,it failed :/.
you know, this synth is supposed to be used differently, occasionally.
same thing for the bells.they feel out of place.
try out a wind instrument for that line.

except from that,it's pretty awesome.
9/10 till i see a remake :P

GenoWhirled responds:

I... wasn't. Read the description. All this song is is an attempt to see how much I could change the overall mood and feel of a single song. I wasn't going for "epicness", I was just going for "mood changes, mood changes everywhere".

this could be used onm many purposes

mostly as a music playing while you have to battle a boss wich is an artificial intelligence gone crazy.imagin this playing while you're killing the boss in portal...
its really good.somehow.

ne ways, sorry,i don't have ne big criticism to say on this...
maybe next time.

it needs something...

and i know exactly what it needs.
NEEDS BASS LINE!
never heard those tinklish backroung bass instrument?they're what makes the song make me wanna dance.
you tried making it loop didn't you :P?
has great synths at great places.
looks like the real thing, but in better quality.

this song has 9/10 and 5/5 in my opinion, and thus till you submit a version with bassline.but i DO have a question,

is it a redux?

Sorrow-316 responds:

Yes, it is a Redux, I would have made a bassline although I wasn't willing to format one :P

now, when you say it sounds like final fantasy...

it truly does.
but you did one thing better than what square enix would ever do.
you didn't make the music change all of a sudden in the middle of the song.
plus,its not too repetitive :D
i'm shure this could easily be looped.
really great choice of instruments.

you HAVE to be working with square enix, right?
