To the guy under me,
I think you misspelled "strangely entertaining".
The looping could be better though. It does seem to be a recurring problem with most flash animations though, so no biggie.

Wow, this game is great.
First of all, classic gameplay
(Reminds me of 1984 which reminds me of Touhou even though Touhou is a bullet hell game))
Really nice style which you seem to be good with.
Interesting music, to say the least. Very fitting to the game.
Interesting story line,
alot of upgrades aaaand...
MEDALS (Collect ALL the medals!)
But yeah, the point is, this is a best of the best here on Newgrounds, in my opinion.

Meat Boy?

No. I say this is neat dude.
(Hehe, see what i did there?)
No but really, this game is nicely done.
The animations are smooth, and the themes well thought through.
Over all, i only had two problems with it.
First of all, in some levels, the blocks don't contrast with the background enough..
Second of all, the music is great and all...
But whilst knowing we keep on dying on every stage and listen to the theme the whole time we are dying on those 5 (or more) stages, it does get kind of annoying...
Although i did thoroughly enjoy the gameplay,
and how cleverly you placed every block...
Very challenging, indeed.
Right now i am still in hell, so i guess tonight we dine in hell.
If i don't make it out, do tell my mom to play this for me.

you can't hide stuff like that from me.
the most obvious reference in the game:it's dangerous to go alone,take this!

anny ways,on to the review.
i found this pretty fun,although not challenging enough.
in the times of NES games,games were short,but tough.
in this game,i saw alot of stuff that reminded me good ol games.
metroid,with in particular those stupid snail enemy things >.>
that old game with the guy in a moon car of some sort by the controls of the character:climbing to walls and shooting in the air as we want to
megaman:jumping shot
legend of zelda:the weapons and references.

overall,the game is pretty colourfull and enjoyable.
for all of you nostalgia gamers at home,this is the game that might bring you back memories.

you hit newgrounds on it's head like a tank bullet.

or a watermelon o.o?

really great game.
simple,but awesome,once again.
i like the character choosing,but couldn't there be evolutions to buyable characters too :(?
i really like the design,great gore and animation
alot of colours
alot of monster variety,once again.
i think you overall did this game just for fun,am i right?as seeing you put a watermelon as a strong monster'n'stuff.
i like how you design your games tho.
they're always so...addictive.
like,here's a little bit of my thoughts while playing "oh cool!i can play as turtle :D! let's get some skulls >=3"
"oh god,i can evolve.LET's DO IT!!"
"hm,what are all these items for?i guess i'll have to buy them to know.LET'S DO IT!!"
"awesoome,medals >=D...i wanna be the very best...im going to get em all!"

n'stuff.really,you are one of the best gamemakers on newgrounds i've seen.
why?because you make it great for alot of peoples.
for gamers:the goombas
for fans of you:turtle
for ng fans:big purple guy
peoples who likes stuff that looks stupid:the design wich looks like it's made for every characters to look stupid
people who like epic stuff:the music and gameplay

oh and you got the idea!i'm just repeating myself..
oh well.

hey like...how many times have i wanted to haunt peplz as a ghost?
and who permitted me to do so...in good graphics? you.thank you.
i like how you can posess every items in more than one way,and how original thse ways are (more or less.)
i like how he embodies the item too.makes it look rather more cartoonyish sided.
i liked to creep peoples xD
i wanna posess them tho >.>. lend me the oppportunity to do that,and ur the best.

for peoples who don't like the aiming...tell yourself that its the for the game to be more challenging.
good graphics for a newgrounds game.
to make those monster's sprites,you had to use models,right?would be awesome to have those monsters in oblivion.
great game.

THIS IS DA BOMB!!

or should i say the nuke?
anny ways,great game.it can be liked by alot of different styles of persons.
like retro gamers (the mario sound effects and monster parodies)
pokemon fans (the turtle,the big digging worm thing i cant remember the name of)
the 24 peopoles who played kid icarus (obvious,since the lil' sun is an icarus lol)
gore lovers (too logical even to say why..)
peoples who like challenges (all those nice lil' shining medals to collect *w*)
humorous peoples (lots of lil' easter eggs,kinda,and parodies of things that exist (like i said first),or like the newgrounds tank.
alot of guns,descriptions and powers for every different peoples,but it could have character changes...(would be toss the TURTLE ne more tho D:!
maybe just armors that make the turtle bounce higher i guess.)
has good graphics in all kinds of ways.
im surprised this doesnt lag o.o...this really should be too much epicness to handle,even from a computer equiped with nvidia geforce 8800 gtx ultra
and an amd athlon x64 x2.
all of this to say,this game is epic as hell and will please alot of peoples in different ways.in 10 years,i'll play it again to see if i stil like it as much.

especially the way you can change guy positions,and that evry 1 of them has a problem with one thing.(to make it tougher,surely.)
really imaginative as to what it is of that...butcher.
only,i couldnt finish it(although i wouldve)

good music
good physics
good sound effects
good gameplay
funnyreally addictive,for some unknown reason...
i like the random message generator
,mostly the "...these messages are not random." message XD
best score i got was 812...
and thanx to the blood,i can play at school :D!
i just tell them that its party poppers because dying is the goal of the game and that i won (just for fun lol)
